These diminutive compact floor standers are 30" and 3/8" inches tall the way I have the spikes positioned from the carpet surface to the top edge of the front baffle. One of my fascinations with compact floor standers besides their form factor is how they can project a tall and life-size three-dimensional sound stage.
Out with the Neat Motive SX2s and in with the Spendor a2s

Yeah, thank you for your comments! I looked up your S5e and Art Dudley reviewed them for Stereophile in 2004 and liked them, very cool aesthetic form the photos. In John Atkinson's test bench report like most Spendors, inefficient but relatively easy to drive because of their benign impedance. Had to enlist my Nait 5si though, because the Rotel I've been playing around with doesn't have the grunt to get the best out of them and I likewise put all my best sources back in the circuit which is what they deserve.
They really shine, very natural with vocals, they go deep in the bass and create a large, airy and precise soundstage. Absolutely love the book-marked natural oak woodwork and I paid about a third of what they retail for new.
