Description

not much in the way of bells and whistles here. the system is rounded out with monster speaker wire and monster cables bewteen the components. the room is 13 x 25 so the components are on one side and the speakers are set up such that the couch has the "sweet spot." i'll post pictures for feedback once we pick up the area. my wife wouldn't let me take a picture. most of my investment is in the music, still i'd welcome feedback and insight on how i might maximize my aural enjoyment.

Once again the most impressive collection/ library I have seen in a long time, bravo. Can we get some information on the speakers, and maybe a picture of their respective placment in your listening area? Marantz is a great choice and always has been. It really comes down to what you want the system to do for you??? I have seen members that rave about their $1500 systems and have no upgrade intentions, and I have also seen members that speak of the need to upgrade components that cost as much as cars.... this being the case I believe that the truest enjoyment in audio comes from getting lost in a great LP or cd, and ultimately not how much one spends on gear. Don't get me wrong.... nice gear is an essential part of the listening experience but this hobby should always be about the thrill of a great jazz vocal, bass guitar, or that tingle that runs down your back when you feel as though you are a part of the music itself.
take care and thanks again for the jazz albums.
