I have been using the Quad 21L for the past 8 years. I was floored when I heard the Quad 12L, that were not on my list of speakers to audition. The bass on Quad is not going to bring the walls down, but it more than sufficient for the room I use them in. It's their transparency that struck me. I had auditioned the Totems, Dynaudios, Paradigms, etc up to the $2K price range and these (12L) were the best. Since I was looking for floor standers, I looked up some reviews and discussed with the "then current" owners and finalized my decision.
I would like to hear some user reviews on the new 23L and 25L.

the quad is more transparent than the profile 908
everything being constant except the speaker?????

the jmlab is more neutral while the quad is a bit warm

but the system is pretty neutral due to the t14 sp cable

which has a silver plated copper conductor

I still prefer the music is on the warm side of neutral
it is a matter of taste

quad naturally has more bass than the jmlab but the bass is on the lean side which is not my cup of tea
