I read in your amplifier evolutin chain that you used threshold t-200, but don't see it here. Do you still use it or have you replaced it?

I used to own that amplifier, loved the way it was liquid smooth with sphinx pre but sold it in a fit of absolute stupidity.

If you have replaced it, please tell me what could replace t-200.Im still looking for...

Good to see you here. Very happy the Gens have found a good home - if only I had the room for them... Though the bass on the Xds is quite good, well, there's only so much you can do with two drivers and 500 watts compared with the Gens. Have you found a good amp to go with them? Are they what you has hoped for? I must say I am jealous that you had the resources to purpose-build a room - they must sound amazing in there...

In the smaller room, the NHT is a much better fit, and I am a happy guy. For the cost and size, they are really fantastic speakers. I have also just acquired a Sony LCoS 60" TV (traded my wife a vasectomy for it), and bought an Oppo upsampling DVD player to go with it. Toys, toys, toys. The next thing will be an NHT Classic Three C center channel.

Great to see your new system. Seems those NHT Xd's are really something-I have been following your threads. Glad to get your Genesis V's though. Now I have them on Soundcare spikes they are extremely capable performers, and without question keepers. I look forward to the further evolution of your set up--all the best.
