The sound is quite satisfying. The Aragon has the juice, at a reasonable price, to firmly control the Contours -- this is a toe-tapping, knows-how-to-rock system that plays, unattended, for hours. It isn't built for audiophilia (air, imaging), but strives for an emotional connection to the music -- and it works, largely because the Contours are so well balanced. The Gen Va (used), the LS16, the Aragon, and the Contours are all over-achievers, imho, for the money. This system has worked well for more than 10 years.
