Description

The sound of this system is so free from distortion that the inner detail of the music and the recorded venue envelopes the listener.The speakers and walls are not part of the room, since they completely disappear.Resolution allows time and space to give a very convincing 3-d image.I have heard many vehicles outside of the recording venue,this system has incredible resolution of each recording.I hope to get a subwoofer that will plumb the very bottom octaves and give accurate sound levels of each venue.My focus is mainly on buying new music and enjoying the system as it stands now.

Hi Cenline, now that's a change from your original speakers. I have not personally heard them but have heard that they are suppose to be really great.

Did you put them on the Sistrum 101 stands? Maybe they won't fit, I will take them off your hands if so. Are you able to use the same Karan amp or are you looking at upgrading. You have VD Genesis cables through out except for your speaker cables, when are you going to go with the speakers cables? Rick said these are suppose to be so much better than what I have, VD Rev Sig's, Rick also said that the Rev. Sig's were substantially better than the actual Revelations.

Your Wadia, have you compared to any others and what were your thoughts.

Talking to Rick it's ironical because he mentioned besides his VD product, Karan, Sistrum and Wadia same product you have.

Cenline, you seem to be having some fun. I have on order some Genesis bi-wired speaker cables and was trying to get a feel for their characteristics. I am currently using VD's latest Rev 2.0 in balanced configuration. I had the Rev. Sig. speaker cables but recently changed speakers which need to be bi-wired. I want to see how the Genesis cables sound, they sure are expensive. I heard that these cables really take along time to break-in 4-500 extra hours over VD's cooking, did you find this?

I am also interested in learning more about the Karan amps you are using, did you do any other comparisons? If so your thoughts.

My current system, this is a second and not my main;

Eggleston Andra 2's
Accustic Arts Dac 1 MK4
Accustic Arts Line Drive 1 MK2
McIntosh 300 Music Server for back ground music
Audio Research Ref3 pre., (Supratek Sauv. on order, suppose to be better than my Ref3, will find out. I also will be trying the Bent Tap once my system has settled in)
McIntosh 501 mono blocks, (want to try Lamm, Cat and now looking into Karan)
Stealth Sextet digital cables for both "AA and Mac"
VD balanced Rev. 2.0 interconnects (would like to try Indra)
VD speaker cable Rev. Sig., Genesis on order.

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
