Using my Laptop (Dell XPS) as a digital music server. Sounds okay may need to get an extrnal DAC

System edited: I have upgraded many things on my System. The first thing is that I purchased a Plasma tv and a blu-ray player. I also upgraded my power conditioner and replaced some speaker cables (APEX ) and inter connects (Accoustic Wow and Cardas Gold). Please leave feedback if you like the new look.

The cables do makes a big difference in sound quality and the new power cords for my mono amps have also made a big difference. Thanks for asking, I'm still looking for some room treatments.

Hey Chad,
Thanks for taking the time to give suggestions about my system. I do have the spike under my legacy 20/20's. I have been looking for some better cables for my system but, in the town I live all I have is the Super Stores.
As for the angles of my speakers, my room is very narrow. My room only measures a little more than 9 feet. If you have any other suggestions on cable that aren't really expensive, please let me know. Thanks again
