Since time has passed now got a chance to upgrade my Goldmund Telos 600 amps with his big brothers Telos 2500, speaker changed from sophia 3 to Sasha 1 and got my preamp nagra jazz back and added mps (battery supply).

Yes autoadjust feature is very usefull. One question I had best results for connecting directly with variable level setup connecting directly to power amps. Do you use variable or direct output

Wow since time passed that I missed analog setup now I found a slice of heaven and very happy about it. After tried some cartridges I decided to pass Koetsu and loaded Zyx Universe 2 cartridge that one of my audiophile buddy offered me, Koetsu is a good cartridge but I wanted more detail on midranges, this melow character first stricked me but after listening to Zyx. I said this is it..First implementation made not impressed me a lot but after a day that my phono preamp is warmed and directly connected to my Goldmunds made some music that only hearing you could beleive, all stages opened up dramatically, detail is increased, Zyx requires very carefull setup after millions of arrangements vta, weight, allignment vertical, horrizontal etc etc I found some situation that everything is made in place and one detail in the midrange that this cartrige is famous for is expanded in a way that like some miracle its occured and now I had some special sound that I am very happy with it.
Burmester phono needs some time to warm and burn at least 100 hours is necessary for gaining his best performance.

I had an impression that now the system had its limits and speaker upgrade will take the sound to another level..but now I am happy with the sophias, and I heard them with numerous different setups I feel I never heard that they reached to their boundaries as in my setup. Ribbon tweeter of Verity had placed my mind and wondering if its worth the upgrade, but I have some concerns too..my other half says stay there and dont touch anything..

Yes its not quite more but yes its more expensive, I am waiting for the dealer to hear them since I heard ver.1 and impressed but for the low octaves its seem to have some problematic because the woofer its located on down side of the speaker and I have some concerns for my place..Having heard that verity changed internal cabling, tweeter material and crossovers so its worth to listen the new series..

I first tried Gryphon Antileon and I am quite impressed on Gryphon typical sound, emphasis on lower mids, bold highs, musical presentation...but it was a full class A amplifier with lot of heat that I couldnt even touch my fingers on top, sound is very impressive but this is 15 years old amplifier with full class A and weight about 70 kgs something. Also was not a best match with my CJ Art2 with lot of hiss that was annoying. After my dealer offered me good debate on Golmund Telos 600 amplifiers and I wondered to try side by side on my system. Goldmunds are little more detailed, more pinpoint sounding and definately more fast, this fast and detailed character doesn't disturb you because it remains also the musicality and tenderness that most detailed amps tends to distort on higher volumes or give you the listening fatique but Goldmunds have very impressive detail like tube amps that has tremendous bass control, it is like using good tube amp with solid state bass control..Gryphons autorative and bold character and musical presentation also remained in my mind, both has very good amplifiers with some pros and cons in my system, and another issue is that Gryphon has only balanced outputs that was not a good match with my preamp..

Only thing there is a hiss noise coming from my speakers. Gryphon only have xlr outputs and my pre is sigle ended so I am using a xlr-to-rca converter for the amp..maybe this connection made some hissing or my preamp didnt liked the Gryphon. But sound is gorgeous and dont want to change something for now..I will try to change the connection of cables in order to made them xlr to rca..

Actually Q10's were my weakest link but its a terrific value for the money, no speaker cable at this price point could give this results but after changing to Ultra's that was a good step up improvement, ok it's a jump from 600 usd speaker cable to 6000..but again it's in another class maybe class of it's own...

Thank you Vegasears for your comments, actually they would bring nice synergy that gave me an intention to not to touch too much on anything in chain except I would have in mind to try Cyrstal Cable spaeker cables to change my DhLabs Q10 speaker cables (but really said those are fantastic bargain cables), and also I liked very much Silver Sonics Red Wave power cords and have intention to add more. Next step would be to try also more powerfull amp choices like Nagra vpa on 845 tubes but its all matter of wallet of course..

Hi all, Today I tried to connect Red wave powercord for clocking unit and shifted analysis plus for a dac..detail emerged more clear and pinpoint definition..electricty line is much better today or difference comes on cable differencies..definately this cable made improvements I am getting in love of this power cable. Curious for psaudio P10, need to wait 3-more weeks..

I mean that fuses could blown or burned when the current is out of state and I wonder if this occurs fuses could damage the unit..it seems to me that most twicked fuses are made of ceramic with solid structure that are made for only audiophile purposes rather than has protection function. Sory for my knowledge but really dont know the issue here..

Esoteric rubidium world clock g0s makes improvements, mostly on the soundstage..p3 d3 has already built in clocking connection and its in a nice and complicated structure that i believe even on board clocking had a improvement that is audible and makes some positive contributions on sound. I was spectical on tyring something more sophisticated not for reason that combo needs but reviews and my dealer offering forced me to try outdoard clocking, and my dealer offered good deal for that..
First i connected the unit with two sets of bnc connectors and let the unit to settle and clock at least 10 minutes are necessary for rubidium to warm up..this is the first starting squence that first you have to warm up the unit, next times if you leave the unit on stand by you dont need to wait till long, but 2 days the rubidium light was kept blinking, the clocking was functioning but there was blinking that annoying me sequencly, after i noticed that my power amp was so near placed to the unit so i changed the place and the blinking were gone and clocking took place, that means the unit is sensible on temperature and must be placed on fresh place,
So what are the results on sound.. First and immadiate improvement comes on soundstage, before i was thinking that i had marvelous soundstage after connecting the unit all the instruments on the stage are placed on their particular places and the stage boomed, more dept and more upfront stage, hmmm nice improvement, detail stayed the same but like purified and more analog like effect occurred,
I listened for i couple of days and wanted to turn back to see for understanding was clocking effect or the unit contribution because most of time your mind comes shifted on the unit and you doesnt understand what is excacly improved, so i shifted back to listen without the g0s, what i have to say once that you hear this there is no turning back it makes really good improvement and this definately a must stay unit..i recommend it highly if you plan to add external clocking but as i understand strangely, higher the unit you have higher the contribution you get, because you are hearing higher resolution and detail and the differencies comes more recognazible..but on some reviews one box solutions had no very recognasible effect, on my case i heard positive thinks and good improvements..now my cd source had reached to another level that only high level analog setups could reach..hope this helps

Do you use P3 on your main system or on secondary? Also saw that you have esoteric digitals also, did you ever wondered or maybe tried esoteric world clocks..that is another step that I am looking for..anyway your set up looks nice.

Hi folks...I am planning to add Ps Audio P10..but I have concerns for rolling off the highs does any comment on power conditioners and what do you suggest..I am now using Black Noise Extreme noise filter on Esoterics and have very pleased with but this doesnt have line stabilization and voltage regulation. Heart positive comments for Ps Audio P10 and wonder since its gonna make a good inmprovement but always spectical for contioners effect on sound quality.
Any positive negative comment is very welcome happy listenings

Black noise v2 line filter added to esoteric p3 d3..I was always suspiocious on line filters because more of them seems to roll off highs and give pressure on sound that is not my liking, yes they give black background effect but seems that you missed somethings...black noise was not that kind of filter, it filters but in a vey positive way my sound is purified, and the detail is increased, you wonder already detailed esoteric cd have now more detail and separation between the notes, is incredible..I plan to audiotion at least a week after I plan to add another one for cj art preamp.
Another very good change was I changed my balanced cyrstal cable ends with wbt ag110 silver rca, now I hear my cables with quads, silver definately love tubes, this is for shure..

Very glad to hear you are also CJ Art 2 user, this preamp is something very special and I see my self as a lucky one of 250 user..my search for preamp is over.
My dealer has one new 805 AE edition on sell and want me to trade with my krell..I am also curious on how they react on Wilson sophias, I did lot of search on web for cary805 and sophia owners and find only one but didnt hear any comment yet..as far as I heard 805's there was some hum noise coming, maybe were from cables that are not shielded dont know but do you have this issue also? Another thing is that 211 tube seems very energetic, they say it run with 845 also and had some romantic sound (dont know the meaning of romantic sound but)..if you describe little on sonic attributes I will be appreciated..Have you ever tried vintage Quads 2..if find one on ebay or something definately consider some, its also quite spaecial like CJ Art 2, pieces of audio history..

Hi Charle1dad. Yes it's a quite interesting for me. Actually happened like this; last day one of my friend bring a Quad II for autioning to my house, eventually this piece was on sale and we wondered if this 15 watts could drive my speakers, I was curious on hearing those he insisted that will drive my speakers with ease and we started to audition Quads, result was very successful and I decided to let stay with me. I paid very small amount respecting what we pay for cables and other things.. My krell is still sitting in the rack and I dont have intention to sell it until now. But it was quite surprising that 15 watts are running side by side (except lows of course) with 600 watts solid state. I keeped those for entertaining purposes. Main differencies were on mids more information and musicality, highs are improved too, got bolded, chimbals with more spark, more definition totally more musical emotion, as far as soundstage is expanded but seems that krell had more depth of field. For getting most I need to change some cables, Quads are taking bananas mine speaker cable were on spades so I didnt hear silver effect that I thing will make some differencies.

But still my Krells are good mostly I respect to 600c or 700cx types (older models) which has slamm and civilized power together with power need to deliver all frequency spectrum with ease as good solid state has to deliver (didnt hear the new ones)..but its a interesting hobby, I felt myself as playing child with his new toys..
