Description

The objective is to obtain the best sound for the least effort. All the components have been in place for at least 6 months. The sound is full with a wide and very well defined soundstage. Exceedingly quiet background, almost black. The music has transparency and punch. I'm very happy with the setup.

Phil, I'm very new to hi-fi and I just upgraded from some old Ohm D2s to new Walsh 100 S3s. I'm interested in what amplifiers you have found work well with these speakers as I'm sort of disappointed with the results so far. My current amp is a 10-year-old Onkyo receiver that I've always been happy with, but now I fear I might need more power. Thanks!
