Hi, did you ever replace the BAT VKp10SE? If not (hopefully not), I'd say the tube noise is on your 1st two, maybe 4 6922's. And it's a tube issue, not a phono preamp issue.
My BAT phono is quiet, like very. Also, a xlr input cable helps quiet the noise vs the rca input.
