Description

There are times in a man's life when he does something that let's him know that he has reached the climax of his career. When I inserted the devestatingly beautiful Talon Audio Peregrine X speakers into my system, I knew that all the years I had spent working for a paycheck had finally paid off for me. High-end audio has always produced products that deliver pleasing sound. But this system not only rewards me with hauntingly realistic sound, it also is breathtaking to look at. My girlfriend even apprecates it's beauty enough to declare that promises not to place any plants on top of the speakers. The speakers have such speed and accuracy that you rarely need to play them loud to here any deep bass. Bass presence is full and articulate. Voices are moist and breathy and the soundstage is deep and wide. The Electrocompaniet pair work together to give the system the muscle and life that effortlessly fills my room even at low volumes. I've been an audiophile for fifteen years and I have never been this happy. I can't wait to buy more music!

Hi Dath,
Beautiful system. I am sure it sounds terrific. I would suggest that you try some Symposium Rollerblocks under the EMC1 along with either a Symposium Ultra Platform or a Silent Running platform that is custom built for each piece of equipment. I was floored by the improvement Rollerblocks made. Do invest in the grade 3 Tungsten Carbide Balls (they are worth the extra money) Ensemble's Isolink Duo is another great move for the EMC1 and the Pre-amp. I have an EMC1 24/192 that I had upgraded this past summer by Alan Warshaw and absolutely love the unit. The tweaks bring the EMC1 to a significantly higher level. I have Rollerblocks under the EMC1, Pre-Amp controller box, Pre-Amp power box and under the Ensemble Isolink. Each addition of the Rollerblocks undre another piece was equal to an equipment upgrade in the sound improvement.

Best Regards,
Larry
