Not necessarily super high-end, just better than these middling JBLs. For roughly the same money (or not much more) you could get a nice pair of floorstanders from B&W, Wharfedale, Monitor Audio or PSB (or some used Paradigms, Thiels, Vandersteens or higher-end Klipsch) - any of which would sound much better. The rest of your equipment more than warrants it.
