    • Audioengine D1
A superb little DAC connected via optical Toslink to my PC. One of the best upgrades I ever made to my system. And an excellent headphone amp, to boot!
    • Shure V-15 type III
A classic cartridge. Sounds lovely with the Super Track stylus.
    • Technics SL-1300
The full-auto sibling to the original SL-1200. Great turntable.
    • Cambridge Soundworks Ensemble subwoofers
Slim, sealed passive subwoofers to add a more substantial bottom end to the Klipsch monitors. They'll do, for now.
    • SMSL SA-50
    Amp for passive subs
    • Klipsch KG-1.5
I bought these as a package deal for a nice Pioneer AVR, I at first didn't think much of them, but the seller told me he was particularly sad to see them go. Now I can hear why. They have a nice, non-fatiguing sound, but they can crank if you ask them to, and they make for surprisingly good near-field monitors.
    • NAD 7240PE
The core of the system, powering the Klipsch monitors. Great sounding mid-80s receiver with a clean, detailed sound, a good MM phono section and an excellent tuner.
    • Bel Canto Design S-300iD
Marvelous little 150wpc integrated amp with onboard Toslink DAC and HT-bypass
    • Transparent Audio MusicWave Biwire
    With spade terminations, all around.
