Description

I like the sound of tubes so I’ve moved away from solid state. I now use a tube amp and preamp and listen to a number of sources.

I just keep coming back to your system. Can you please describe your experience with these loudspeakers? I see you have some formidable gear to go with the ProAcs. My room is so similar to yours (15 X 18 X 8). Did you hear the D48Rs, by any chance?

I had a pair of Bryston mini-ts on stands before I purchased the  Proac speakers. I like the mid range of the Proacs but the bass is a little boomy. Next week I'm going to replace the standard spikes with brass audio points.

Very good setup. I just came back from auditioning the D30RS. They were pretty good sounding. But for some reason I thought they sounded a little darker. What other loudspeakers did you listen before settling down on the D30RS?

Just tightened the drivers in the Proac D30R speakers with a torx screwdriver about 1/2 turn. A few of them were loose. It really righted up the bass.
