Hi Holtzhauer I have admired your system especially those contras! I tried the Plinius but I can’t remember the model and it was very good, though I prefer a slightly warmer sound. The Macs do everything that I want and I was previously using the 501’s but the 611’s are on a different level. They are much faster, greater depth and presence. I think going to the Analysis Plus Oval 8 was a huge improvement though. Glad your doing well and keep me informed of your choice.

Beautiful system.  I have the Diapason 2's as well.  I'm using the Plinius SA-103 power amplifier.  Did you do any amplifier experimentation before arriving at McIntosh?  My Plinius is getting pretty old so I'm thinking of getting something different.

Breezer: from what I understand the driver configuration is the same , but with different drivers. I have heard a 2 version and my sound very different. You would have to ask Vasken what the differences are. Mine are finished in ebony and they are pictured on pinterest.

Hello, can you please send some pictures from the new Diapasons? What are new on them in comparison to the later Diapasons with slightly bigger Double Eagle from about 10 years ago?
