Components Toggle details

    • PTP Audio PTP Solid 12
Based on a Lenco, idler wheel drive.
    • Critical Mass Systems Turntable Base
    One-off custom built base.
    • SOTA Pyxi Phono Stage
This phono stage replaced a Herron tube phono stage.  I vastly prefer the Pyxi.  The designer has come up with a new DIY version of the phono stage and I plan to build it soon.
    • Eminent Technology ET 2.5 Tonearm
ET 2.5 direct wired from cartridge pins to Eichmann RCA plugs, added a cueing lever to front.
    • Spread Spectrum Technologies Son of Ampzilla II
    • Hana umami red
Replaced an Ortofon Cadenza bronze.  Very sensitive to VTF, VTA and azimuth.  I had it a year before I got all of those parameters right.  Now that they are dialed in I'm going back to old records and hearing stuff I'd never heard before.  Huge soundstage, dead quiet in the groove.
    • Muse Model 3 Signature Preamplifier
Dipole speakers seem especially sensitive to balance and I couldn't do without the Muse remote with balance adjustments.  I purchased a much more expensive preamp, but ended up going back to the Muse.
    • Audio Artistry Vivaldi speakers
    Dipole open baffle.
    • Teo Audio Game Changer interconnect
    Connecting phono stage to preamp
    • Grover Huffman Empress Interconnects
2.2 meter, balanced, preamp to amp.
    • Core Power Technologies Diamond and Diamond Xtreme Power cables
From Deep Core to Equi Core and from Deep Core to amp.
    • Hsu Research VTF-1 MK3 Subwoofer
    2 subwoofers
    • Core Power Technologies Equi=Core 1800 and Deep=Core 1800
    • Purist Audio Design Poseidon-Luminist
    8 foot speaker cables.
    • LessLoss Power Cords
    Connected to the HSU subwoofers.
    • RME ADI 2 Pro
ADC/DAC.  Connected to a Rasberry PI running Volumio.
    • IsoAcoustics GAIA Speaker Isolators
Work as advertised.  A much more stable image.  To use a video analogy, your TV could be projecting a well focused picture, but if it's sitting on a paint shaker, it's going to appear blurry.  Shaking speakers, same thing.  These things really diminish that.

I have been in Austria at the listening room of Mr. Spitaler (ex. Artkustik) never heard such a sound, never feel Music so real. He is using his own Speakers called Diamond and his own Pre- and PowerAmps with the SoReal Audio Seismograph Turntable, using Arms from SME and Jelco! On the Jelco he is using a cheap Audiotechnica Mono, wow man, thats unbelievable...
Luckily I bougth a SRA Seismogrph turntable from German SRA and he recommend me to visit Mr. Spitaler, maybe this helps you to find the right Speakers and Amps...
