I started in October of 2002. I researched with the help of Audiogon threads/opinions and magazine reviews. Purchases were through the resale market with the exception of the speakers and power cords. My glaring weakness is with my monoblocs, but my overall sound is superb. I hope to add a four channel Theta Dreadnaught in the distant future.
I really like the way you are able to use tweaks to better the sound of your system!I also have usde a fair number of them as well.I really like the Quicksilver Gold on all my cables, amp,cd front end and speakers.You might also try the Sistrum platforms since they make a huge difference to all components incuding speakers.If you get the chance look for a paint that goes on practically everything called AVM,you put it on dac chips,pcb boards ,speaker drivers,power trannies.Anyway, these are just thoughts for the future.Well done Dennis
