    Um... awesome!
    • McIntosh MC1.2KW
x2.  All the power the Summits need to shine!
    • Rega RP8
Stock with Apheta 2 MC cart.  Shed the boxy accessories to give it that Wow/POP factor on the countertop.  Such a reasonably priced, sexy, lovely way to enjoy vinyl records!
    • Panamax Max 5510
The great protector of all that is sonically beautiful.
    • Martin Logan Summit
My mistress and her twin sister.
    • McIntosh MVP-881
Brilliant, Awesome unit! Transparent as freshly cleaned glass.  Plays BRDVDs and SACDs and anything else you can shove into it to the Nth degree. Balanced XLR outputs leaves it sonically unmatched ... IMHO.

I got the 1.2s because my eyesight has worsened over the years ;) JK... I have a back up MC352 that was doing ok with the ML's for a long time in a smaller room.  I recently finished out the lower level of the house and the listening space more than doubled.  The 352 would clip at times and the power reserve really lacked in some listening instances (Hugh Masekela - Stimela - particularly the SACD version).  I've had ML's for several years and while I have thoroughly enjoyed them, I'm looking to upgrade my speakers if gas ever comes back down to below $4/gal!  When I went shopping for component upgrades, my peeps at Definitive gave me the hook up.  So I may have excessive headroom at the moment, but it's patiently waiting for my next monitor experience.

Thanks for all the great comments!  Gear is very well vented.  Entire rear side is open to a vault that is technically below ground and vented to the exterior of the house.  Average temp back there is around 60ºF. Also, each component sits on its own open-bottom shelf and the granite countertop has a 1" slot along the rear to help with cables and ventilation.
