I listen primarily to Music (Stereo), but i use an AVR, so I can also watch films and have a little "Surround" (4.0, two little speakers in the Back)
The Strength of my System is virtually unlimited dynamics, very low THD
Very accurate and detailed sound image
Great stage, precise positioning of the musicians
Also quiet (apartment) the speakers realize already an impressive sound experience
The Bass-Units are active, so the bass can be optimally adapted to room and listening habits using a DSP.
Weaknesses:
The room. :-/
I am currently a student and I live in a 2 bedroom apartment,
In a larger room, the box would play differently.
In the future I will change a little bit of room acoustics, especially the door needs to be adjusted first to the Reflections of the ribbon tweeter to slow a bit.
The Speakers:
The mid-high speaker - sections are connected via a conventional but simple passive crossover network to the AV receiver.
The pre-outs on the AVR run in the DBC12. Here the DSP adjusted the sound to the room and runs via Y - cable into each of the XTZ amplifiers. As a result, for each of the 4 bass units, a single channel is avaailable.
The speaker enclosures are made from 28mm HQ-MDF with many bracings. The feet and the terminals are hand made from solid stainless steel from a fellow professional mechanic.
The paint is applied by a fellow professional varnisher.
The crossover is due to the optimal interaction of the midrange speakers with the ribbon tweeter a 12 db Network and mostly built with Mundorf-Parts.
I'm afraid my English is a bit rusty, but if there are any Questions feel free to ask :)

Very impressive system. I've never heard the speakers, but they look like they are incredible. I'm thinking about a new AVR. Are the Marantz receivers audiophile? Incidentally, what country do you live in?
