I don't know how the heck anybody can make fun of such a beautiful system. Why don't you ask whoever critizes your taste to post their own system. You obviously put a great deal of time and expense into your system. Chord electronics are some of the best out there and I was fortuinate to hear them at the trade shows. Enjoy.

I've spoke to this fellow Ciffanervi he hasn't even heard the SPM5000 (so please) and he uses a CPA4000 with a ML 27.5 so please don't make fun of other systems wihtout knowing anything about them.

I don't think that is very cool system!Chord SPM 5000 is no cool amplifier.Interconnect and speaker cables are right for me.I have a Chord SPM 4000 amplifier and a Mark Levinson 380S preamplifier.Both are better with revealing connections.B&W 802....?.Enjoy the music Ciao
