The bottom end foundation is really strong (in a great way) and the whole system is really singing.

Can really hear the improvement from the last visit. Which Was before your Opus cables. The Vivaldi sounds great too.

Lloyd, I have to admit...as the new Transparent Opus MM2 cable is broken in or nearly broken in, the system is sounding like never before. Especially the bottom end...but really everywhere how it handles the inflections and spacing and movement of the musicians. It's hard to turn it off...

Honestly, I think the Opus cabling is like a serious equipment change...some can argue on the pricing...they can't really argue on the sound improvement...

Hi John,

Thanks for having me over yesterday. Your digital front end with the new Vivaldi DAC and Transparent digital and analog cabling sounds really, really good. As I mentioned yesterday, the bass depth, output and texture was very impressive and the bottom end was better on vinyl as well which I am guessing is a result of the new Transparent speaker cables. Congratulations!

Thank you Peter, I have one pair of Ref MM MM2 left from Pre to Amp. It does sound really nice! The cabling is a big deal, I will say the source to pre is the biggest improvement (what a surprise :) if you ever get a chance to try a set over your Ref XL MM2.

I have a few friend coming by today to listen, curious on their thoughts...

I loved my TA Opus MM2 speaker cables, very sexy sounding and does bass like no other cable. got to be a perfect match for the Rockports.

Fantastic news, JFrech...fantastic. I am due to hear back on some leads regarding 2nd hand TA RefMM (MM2) or Opus cables, but I think the chances are 50-50 at best. Still, sure would be fun!

Lloyd..3rd week now on the Transparent Opus MM2 speaker cable. They are so open...breathing ...so quick...so fast to stop...just pulls you in. Of course the bass is deeper...the resolution better...lower noise...but these seem to draw you into your system in a way I find hard to describe...

I agree on Isolation....if you're unit was recently shipped, I found it takes a few days to settle down...could be the transformers or other components don't like being jiggled around...
