I have always loved Plinius and the Polk LSI series are hidden audiophile gem. Both are very smooth and relaxed. Is the combo too much of a good thing? Have you tried the Plinius w/ more dynamic sp...

That is one 'hot looking' SL-1200. Love your mods to it. I'm waiting to find a used 1200 for a good price that has not seen DJ use.

Nice assortment of desirable equipment, just too bad your listening space is so cramped. It would really shine if you had a better room. And super nice Stressless recliners by Ekornes too.

Sweet system! How does the acrylic platform affect the sound of your Technics TT? I'm considering acrylic shelves for my rack.

System good for a while.

Did you make a wooden plinth to drop your SL-1200 into? Did it affect the sound, or is it just cosmetic?

Your Rockport Tech is one nice looking TT. I love the mass, base and gorgeous arm. I will probably never hear one, especially in a system/room like yours. But it impresses me none-the-less.

If you graduated high school in the late '60s, wouldn't you be a baby boomer. If so, your system should be called Baby Boomers Vintage System.
