As the model name suggests, this is Music First Audio's most affordable passive preamp. If you have a simplified setup where there is only one or two source component, this Baby Classic is probably all you need if you want to hear musical purity at its most unadulterated form. Two toggle switches on the back allows you to switch between XLR and RCA input and output and a step attenuator volume control on the front are the only "adjustable" pieces on the unit. So if you have a good source unit and a top notch amplifier and speakers, you would relish how each musical score is uncolored and presented in its originality. Nothing added in and nothing taken out. It sounded every bit as good the Copper II we had sold previously and retailed for nearly double the price of the Baby Classic.
The Baby Classic is in very nice shape. Just minor scuff marks common with use but nothing major. We have the original box and will be securely packed for safe shipping.
