Legendary Duos Speakers, by Voce Audio -- The Ultimate Vocal Speaker! -- (Sound Video Link)

Voce means "Voice" in Italian. This is a pair of legendary speakers from Voce Audio. Vince Solbes, a former San Francisco Opera tenor, designed the Voce Duos. Technical design for the speaker crossover was in partnership with MSB Technology, with headquarters down the street in the Bay Area. Voce also partnered extensively during these years with MSB to demonstrate at audio shows, giving you some idea of the caliber of performance we’re talking about with the Duos speakers.

Many audiophiles heard the Voce Trius model at RMAF and CES, which was the company’s $65K flagship model; it was released earlier and sold many more pairs. The Duos was the smaller and bigger bang-for-the-buck model, produced later.

This pair was used lightly, well cared for, and is still in like-new condition. They were used periodically for about 4 years in the Jaguar listening space. The enclosure is constructed from phenolic (a machinable, low-resonance resin, commonly used in very high-end speakers like Wilson Audio), and the finish is high-gloss Metallic Black Ferrari paint.

As you’d expect from the ears of a professional opera singer, the magic of Voce speakers is in interpreting voices in the most realistic and hypnotic way you've ever heard. When paired these with our Lamm LL2.1 Linestage Preamp, and Pavarotti’s voice soared. The Duos’ ported cabinet design is extremely versatile and has enough low bass to play hard rock down to 30Hz.
