Technics SP10 MKII in custom Dobbins plinth

This is a serious turntable system. It weighs 52 pounds. Don't let the low price fool anyone. It deserves a great tonearm and cartridge. Just because this isn't a $20k TT, it doesn't mean the owner needs to buy a low priced arm and cart. You can't "over arm" or "over cart" this TT.

The plinth pays homage to the outer shape of the original obsidian plinth but this plinth is engineered to actually handles the SP10's motor energy as well as the room energy so it does not get to the tonearm/cartridge, giving a dead quiet musical performance. 

It will accomodate 9-12" arms. I can supply a number of different arms or I can drill the blank armboard to fit your arm. Four adjustable and effective Stillpoints feet are included.

All capacitors in the power supply and TT itself have been replaced by new high quality units. An IEC connector as been added to the power supply so the owner can take advantage of better power cords. Bearing has been serviced and is ready to.

Platter mat is in nice condition. We can discuss the two or three mats I have heard that match extremely well with the SP10.
