Sonus Faber Maxima Amator

Offering here one of the truly great speakers, which I thought I would never sell. But circumstances have changed and now must sell. The Maxima Amator is the only solid wood floor standing speaker Sonus Faber makes, and they are visually and sonically stunning. This was a truly special project within Sonus Faber and they truly spared no expense to make this timeless classic. These borrowed drivers from the top of the line model and improved them to be perfect in this iconic effort.

If I were to describe the sound in a nutshell, the midrange is very detailed and textured, the highs are delicate and airy, and the bass is deep and textured. Voices have the emotion intact, and tonality is realistic and natural. All this from a relatively compact floorstanding speaker. The soundstage is huge, deep, and pinpoint.
YouTube and online reviews are readily available, which are all raves, generally with reviewers buying the speakers.
Truly mint condition without a scratch, and includes all original packaging and materials. In the pictures the speakers appear to be leaning but this is just an artifact of the camera angle. They stand straight up and are fully adjustable with the spikes.
Package dimensions are for one speaker so any shipping estimate must be doubled to be accurate. I am located in northern Michigan and willing to drive a couple hours to meet a buyer, otherwise shipping will be freight on a pallet.
