Features & Design

The BlackEagle is an example of consistent advancement of the legendary Ayon ceramic loudspeaker series (Seagull, Hawk, Falcon, and Eagle) produced over one decade ago. A decade later, with the new ceramic chassis technology, we further developed the loudspeaker by mounting them on a ceramic chassis. Implementing specially produced higher impedance ceramic bass-chassis-coils, we now draw the overall impedance up and designed the acoustic 6dB cross-over, across the spectrum, an ingenious much simpler design. Also, the improved “almost not damped” elliptical Ayon instrument grade plywood cabinet, with its unequaled all around radiating characteristics is done by means of the elongated elliptical front plate. The sound is carried far into the room in a quasi “surround sound.” The speakers disappear! This further contributes to the very easy operation of amplifiers, particularly the lovers of low powered solid state, Class A amps and tube amplifiers are a perfect match for this loudspeaker.

High powered amplifiers perform flawlessly as well.
