Features & Design
The BlackHeron is the consistent advancement of the legendary Ayon ceramic loudspeaker series (Seagull, Hawk, Falcon, and Eagle) produced over one decade ago. A decade later, with the new ceramic chassis technology, we further developed the loudspeaker, deciding to mount it on a ceramic chassis. Implementing specially produced impedance bass-chassis-coils, we now draw the impedance up and designed the acoustic 6dB- cross-over, an ingenious much simpler design. Also, the improved “almost not damped” elliptical Ayon instrument grade plywood cabinet (with its unequaled all-around radiating characteristics is done by means of the elongated elliptical front plate). The sound is carried far into the room in a quasi “surround sound.” The speakers disappear! This further contributes to the very easy operation of amplifiers, particularly the lovers of low powered solid state and tube amplifiers are a perfect match for this loudspeaker.
High powered amplifiers perform flawlessly as well.
