Our inventory of Custom Design Speaker Speaker Stands are now available at closeout prices. This ad is for several versions of Custom Design's very nice SQ 402 series of medium-duty speaker monitor stands. The SQ series is distinguished by the availability of wooden center posts with Custom Design's proprietary acoustic steel top and bottom plates. We have a very limited stock of the SQ 402 model in Black Ash, Oak, or Walnut finishes.

The solid hardwood square support columns are manufactured from solid Ash, Oak or Walnut harvested from sustainable, professionally managed forests and available finished in Black, White, Oak, Cherry, Mahogany, and Walnut. The natural properties of wood dampens resonance noise vibration and this is enhanced by the Acoustic Steel™ top plate, preventing the transition through the design and influencing the stand and speakers performance.

Custom Design's metal stand top & bottom plates are fabricated from a unique, proprietary material called "acoustic steel". This material is a composite sandwich with steel with inert materials resulting in absolutely zero "metal resonating ring". This translates into very high performance stands that will assuredly enhance the performance of your speakers.
