Garrard 401 Statement Ebony Groovemaster II and Power Supply package

Absolutely stunning Garrard 401 Statement v.2 custom Macassar Ebony with Micro Suede Black 2-tone finish, includes Groovemaster II (12") Titanium tonearm and Monarchy AC Regenerator power supply. Conservatively rated 7/10 due to a few superficial scuffs and light scratches in the soft touch black finish (High gloss Ebony veneer finish is pristine) but operational condition rates a 10/10.

Many features easily set this model apart, to begin, the weak, stock Garrard variable cast chassis plate has been replaced with our solid Aluminum Magnesium alloy billet machined chassis plate for optimal structural rigidity and superior damping characteristics. (Link)  All internal wiring is cryo treated pure Ohno OCC Copper. The idler wheel is our precision stainless steel type which allows for greater clarity and focus over other versions.  Our Statement plinth shown is comprised of 5 layers of specially selected materials, including natural hardwoods, composite hardwoods, alloys and synthetic resin designed for optimum balance of dynamics, damping capabilities, liveliness and rigidity.  The inverted main bearing and platter also help to shield the cartridge from stray vibrations and noise emanating from the motor and mechanical idler drive system, all while allowing for a lower center of gravity, with improved flywheel affect and a drastically reduced overall noise floor resulting in superior speed pitch, focus and audibly superior levels of refinement without any of the low level grudge easily heard when using stock vintage Garrard parts.         

This model, originally manufactured in 2020, is a one-owner consignment sale item which we recently received from a meticulous local client and performs flawlessly.  Configuration setup for native 220v/50Hz operation in conjunction for use with the Monarchy AC power supply but the ac motor can easily be converted over to 110v/60Hz operation, if desired.

The unit has been fully inspected and serviced and includes a one year limited manufacturers warranty.  All original packing materials are included and the supplied factory ISPM-15 certified wood shipping crate is brand new. 

The secondary Panzerholz armboard position is pre-drilled for an Origin Live (12") tonearm base (standard Rega type).

Includes a set of 4/ea. Stillpoints Ultra SS isolation footers (Black).
