Pro-Ject's precision Tube Box DS2 phono preamplifier benefits from outstanding circuitry design by the brilliant Czech engineer, Dr. Bohumil Sykora. Compatible with most MM & MC cartridges on the market, it offers two turntable inputs so enthusiasts can easily toggle between two different turntable/cartridge combos. Continuously adjustable (‘on-the-fly’) input impedance for low output MC cartridges is a must-have feature that allows you to ‘tune’ the loading to achieve the sonics that best suit your system and your ears. Other features include input capacitance for MM cartridges and a switchable subsonic filter to stave off mechanical noise. All components including the tube output stage and polypropylene capacitors are audiophile-grade and guarantee a breathtaking sonic experience.
