The brush works by establishing that most surface noise comes from debris stuck in the groove. Clean and Anti-Stat the groove successfully and you have a quiet groove. The Super Cleaner brush polymers create positive and negative ions to combat static. By doing this the dust is no longer attracted to the groove and by the use of the brush and a stylus in the groove during playback the needle itself releases some of the debris every time the record is played. The record cleaner operates in the usual way by revolving the record against the brush. By using super fine strong and long anti-static fibres, that can compete for groove space, three or four fibres at a time, all the way to the groove floor and collect and remove the particles successfully before and after the record is played. It is not new to use a brush/cleaner or velvet to clean the record before play, But the common carbon bristles are too large to access all areas of the groove or the velvet bends the wrong way and forces particles back down into the groove. Successful control of particles is an important part of maintaining vinyl condition, playback quality and reducing stylus wear. By adopting a successful approach to this problem and then religiously repeating the process this deep groove manipulation super cleaning process, removes all of the debris after 5-6 plays. All of the unwanted noise deep in the groove caused by  obstructions is successfully silenced and the original quality of playback is restored. A fabulous tool for removing micro grit from the groove thus prolonging the life of your groove and stylus too. The results are very noticeable indeed. I have found that after only 5-6 plays of a VG+ record, the only evidence of noise is from visible scratches. No particle/surface noise in the form of crackles, ticks, and pops. The more I used the Super Cleaner the better my records sounded. After using it I'm finding that all of them are ticks and pops free, unless from visible scratches.
