The MC-240 sincerely needs no introduction, as it really is one of the top tube amplifiers in the vintage audio world.  This specific model came from a long-time Audiophile who collects vintage equipment.  As you can see, this model truly goes back to its era with original documentation and manual.  As for the sound, it is just impressive what this amp can do with its highly desirable NOS tubes, as the sound is truly liquid with a detail only found in the most expensive amplifiers.  The midrange is unbelievable and the overall sound is quintessential musical. 

This MC-240 is in outstanding operational condition with maintenance upgrades done only as needed to preserve originality.  Cosmetically the pictures give a transparent window into the vintage level and the natural patina that a product like this would have after 50 plus years.
 
The sale Includes all NOS vintage tubes, the vintage McIntosh power tubes and the hard to find highly sought after Telefunken 12AX7 tubes used in the pre-stage section.  In addition, the original paperwork, including the original manual, circuit diagram and warranty papers. 

A local pickup is preferred, however a white-glove shipping approach will be entertained at the buyer’s insistence and expense.
