I listen to all types of music. The Suara amp has been able to represent delicate classical music with elegance and musicality, as well as contemporary music demanding quick transients, sparkling highs and uncompromising low end.
In addition to its musical prowess (ample glowing reviews online) it is a beautiful thing that will hold its own on any audiophile system.

Questions for the seller
Why are you selling this item? Do you know the age? If you're replacing it, with what amp did you choose? What other gear did you have it paired with?
This amplifier is essentially new. I bought it about six months ago from Fidelis in New Hampshire. I own Harbeth speakers, the very large 40.1s. These speakers are very hard to drive and have an intrinsic, warm tone, with a rather emphasized low end. While the Suara works beautifully with normal speakers , being a valve amplifier, in that particular system, it was a little bit too much of a good thing. Particularly because my DAC and my preamp are also valve units. I thought of keeping it because it sounds glorious on another smaller system I have. But it would be an eccentricity that I can’t quite afford at this moment. I replaced it with a solid state amp. Specifically a Sim audio 330A Power amp. Let me know if you need anything else. The Suara comes with extra tubes, and all original packaging materials. Look for reviews for the Suara online., They are all glowing and laudatory.
Thanks for the response. This is my only hesitation. My current amp is solid state but very old. I've heard so many good things about this amp, but I'd be going from 125w to 50 and not sure if that's too big of a drop off. My current speakers are smaller than the Harbeth's and more sensitive (88 vs. 84 for the Harbeth). Without a local dealer to test drive these, I'm unsure if these will have enough power. Thoughts?
Valve amplifier Watt ratings are not the same as solid state Watts. It was never an issue of power for me. The 50 W per channel of the Suara were plenty to drive the 40.1s. There is a lot of power in this amplifier, regardless of the type of music you listen. I am rather omnivorous about music, from classical to jazz to rock to pop, etc. I never felt that there was not enough power coming from this amplifier. And that’s a pretty amazing statement, taking in consideration how hard the Harbeths are to drive. I hope this helps. Best.
