Aerial Acoustics Model 5 Speakers & Stands

My Model 5 speakers are being sold in a set of three. As the original owner I purchased an American Walnut pair then added the third speaker into a small three channel music/video system in my former library. The system performed nicely in that small room, so the third speaker is an added bonus for multi-channel or spares. The two primary stereo speakers have the heavy shot filled stands included as specified originally by designer Michael Kelly of Aerial. 
Stereophile’s Robert Hartley reviewed the 5’s with the following comments “The 5 is the smallest loudspeaker in the Aerial line. The sealed enclosure houses a 7" woofer and a 1" dome tweeter. The woofer is rather large for a cabinet of this width, but the enclosure volume is increased by the substantial depth. The woofer is a 7" cast-frame unit with a damped polypropylene cone, custom-made for Aerial by Vifa in Denmark. The sealed enclosure trades extension for tighter bass and a cleaner midband. The 5's tweeter is a custom-made titanium dome sourced from MB Quart in Germany. It features dual chambers with a flared connecting vent and a large surround. The tweeter is recessed in the 5's baffle and surrounded by absorbing felt. These drivers are crossed over at 2.5kHz, but Aerial doesn't describe the crossover slopes. The crossover is mounted on a board nearly the size of the rear panel. Air-core coils and polypropylene-film capacitors are used, along with custom 99.997% high-purity copper Litz wire and silver solder. The crossover circuit board is made from glass epoxy with double-thickness copper and solder plate finish. The Aerial was super-smooth, uncolored, and had a top-to-bottom coherence rivaling those of much more expensive loudspeakers.”
Audiophile friends listen to the Model 5's which I have paired with a pair of REL 7t subwoofers and find the sound most satisfying in my 12 x 10' room. A quality vintage speaker setup for discerning music lovers. Original cartons and packaging will be used for shipping.
