Music Hall MMF - 5.3

Purchased new Jan 2023. Comes complete with factory box, power plug, accessories. Purchased upgraded cork mat which really improved dynamics with out having to adjust the tone arm VTA. 
This table was being used in a secondary home and used only occasionally. My main rig had an AMG table and was spoiled by it. As a former tech and engineer I solved some problems and modified the table in a few areas as follows:

1. Record clamp has a black thin felt pad attached to underside to provide a soft surface on record labels as it came with bare metal. 
2. The tone arm wires ground wire was resoldered and grounding terminal was sanded and reattached to improve static grounding (I'm in Arizona, its dry. The tone arm being carbon fiber, the plinth being composite and record the mat/record being fibrous I was getting a lot of static build up and a sharp discharge when listening to records. These changes helped tremendously. 
3. There is a shield covering the drive motor that acts as beauty cover and motor mount. It was creating extra audible hum as it was only insulated with a felt pad and came over tightened from the factory which put too much compression on the top plate of the motor adding friction and sound. The cover hole for pully was enlarged to provide less resistance and reverb. Screw holes for motor were bored large to allow room for motor screw as the cover rested on them adding to the vibration. The cover was then strategically lined with Dynamat dampening material to avoid any interference with motor or plinth.
4. Bottom base had Dynamat added to absorb any any motor vibration prior to reaching rubber feet holding up plinth. 
5. Low friction German bearing oil used for subplatter reservoir. 

Overall the turntable sounds great and runs great as well. I had a Rega P3 a few years ago and this table is noticeably better in every regard. 

Selling because I no longer have the other home and cant find use to this tabl.
