Spendor SP1/2E

Nice pair of classic Spendor SP 1/2E speakers in good condition. Conservatively rated at 7/10 due to a couple of marks on the upper rear corner of one speaker and scratches near the binding posts. Otherwise quite good. They sound incredible, and even better with a nice sub like a REL. Hard to beat in a medium sized room for acoustic music, jazz, vocals and classical works. Offered with Sound Anchor stands. These are very heavy and I'd prefer not to ship them. I do have other stands that look like originals, which I will ship if a potential buyer is interested. I have included the weight and dimensions of one speaker.

Read the glowing reviews by Robert Greene in TAS and Herb Reichert in Enjoy the Music from several years ago. You'd be hard pressed to find a more natural sounding speaker other than original Quads or other BBC type models. I've heard and owned many of the style over the past 30+ years.... Selling because I've moved to a horn system.
