Introducing PhonoDirect Attenuator Cable for our PhonoDirect.com direct cartridge recordings, used for virtual demo and comparison. Our service offers tracks recorded directly off of most popular phono cartridges available, with RIAA DSP correction for casual and Direct recordings for critical comparison and virtual demo in your own system.

If you wish to hear the phono cartridge direct recordings from our online library you will need our PhonoDirect Attenuator Cable. The purpose of this cable is to lower the DAC line level output to phono input level in order to simulate the selected phono cartridge in your system, using the full chain PhonoPre/Preamplifier/Amplifier/Speaker and your room acoustic, that may influence your choice.

PhonoDirect Attenuator Cable is designed to attenuate the line level signal out of your DAC so that it can be played through MM phono stage preamplifier (phono input) in order to simulate the selected phono cartridge in your system. MC cartridges are recorded with a step up transformer, bringing the signal to MM level, but we can make a custom MC version of the cable upon request, which will be suitable for MC phono playback.

Oxygen-Free Copper conductors in the patented Tri DNA HELIX design, Luna 10 audio interconnect wire provides surprising improvements in sonic realism. Crafted with precision, this audiophile cable delivers exceptional imaging and dynamic expression, further enhanced by the COMPOSILEX 5 insulation, which heightens focus and clarity.

Gold-plated bronze contacts, REAN RCA Finger Groove Connectors feature ≤10mΩ contact resistance, ≥200MΩ (initial) insulation resistance, ergonomic finger groove for easier handling and more than 5000 mating cycles.

Matched, hand picked Metal Film Resistors. Even though we use a 1% tolerance resistors, hand picking them to match exactly ensures the least amount of interference with the signal balance.
