Siltech Cables LS-188 G5

Selling a set of Siltech speaker cables. The LS-188's Mk 2 cables are the thickest gauge of that G5 Classic series. These flexible 3.5 meter cables (139 inches end to end) are usable in a wide variety of setups.

This pair is terminated with WBT-0680 Ag pure silver spades (at amp end) to WBT-0645 angled, locking bananas (at speaker end). There are a few hairline cracks in the plastic covering the WBT connectors, but this does not affect their great sound and in terms of performance, jacket condition and performance they're teriffic. Have been used in a pet free, smoke free home.

Compared to the Mk1 version "The Mk 2s use a more sophisticated geometry, Dual-Balanced Micro-Technology. The same conductors and Kapton insulation are used, but before they’re wound together Siltech puts each dedicated silver-gold conductor and its layer of Kapton into a full-coverage braided silver shield, then adds Teflon insulation. The conductors are then wound together so that their magnetic fields cancel each other out. Siltech claims that because each conductor is individually shielded, this configuration results in lower distortion, vastly improved conductivity, and dramatically improved rejection of RF noise"
