Merlin Music Systems VSM-MX

This is a beautiful pair of piano black (gloss) Merlin VSM-MX floorstanding speakers with the battery BAM bass augmentation module.  These highly reviewed speakers went through numerous refinements over the years.  The MX version is one of the last and most refined versions.  This pair is in excellent condition with one minor scratch on the side of one speaker that I could not get to appear in the photos.

These come with the original paperwork, RC (Zobel) networks, adjustable spiked feet, alignment tool, protective grill covers and of course the battery BAM module.

Stereophile review:  

I do not have the original boxes, so I had custom wooden crates built to protect them during transport (see pictures).  Free local pickup is welcome, or I am also willing to drive them to within 200 miles of 44256.
