I am the original owner and upgraded from this Hermes DDC to the Gaia DDC, and my beloved Hermes must go. It is in pristine condition (placed in service, and never moved). I used it to relock the network streamer signal, and convert it from USB to I2s. I2s is used internally in my DAC, and using I2s between components eliminates conversion via USB connection back to I2s, by the DAC. This connection always sounded better in my system.
