Borresen 01 speakers in Walnut with Stands, Darkz and Boxes.
The Borresen 01 loudspeaker was until recently Borresen Acoustics top of the range stand mount loudspeaker. It has since been succeeded by the new top of range US$100,000 Borresen M1, an ultra-high-end, 2-way standmount loudspeaker.
What’s the connection between the M1 and 01? Well, they essentially use the same tweeter, Børresen’s famed RP94 Ribbon Planar Tweeter, one of the highest definition tweeters available. It’s an extremely low mass design which reveals more micro-detail in high frequencies than traditional domes which are typically 30x heavier and have slower transient response. Borresen’s tweeter offers more realistic ambience and spatial cues together with cleaner transients in cymbals, strings, and vocals.
The tweeter is matched with a patented neodymium ring-magnet woofer with a very light but rigid carbon-fibre sandwich cone structure, which resists flexing (cone breakup distortion) and results in the fastest most resolved bass I’ve heard in my 30+ years of being an audiophile.
These Borresen speakers are single owner and are in very good (8/10) condition being used in a pet free, smoke free environment and in full working order with no issues with drivers or the tweeters. They come with matching Borresen stands, boxes, white gloves (sealed), tool and Ansuz Darkz resonance control devices (Qty-6- total) for the stand top plates.
This model is the standard version not the Cryo or Silver Supreme version.
These speakers are sold “Local Pickup Only” - Ex-Works (EXW, Singapore 427982). This means the buyer is responsible for packing and logistics.
US / International customers are welcome to appoint a local freight forwarder to inspect, pack and ship the speakers on your behalf. Testing prior to shipment to check working condition also welcome.
Shipping boxes are available with the manufacturers original inserts and white cloth covers. There are a total of three (3) boxes.
