XLR Interconnects with Duelund Silver Wire and AECO Connectors

XLR interconnects, 1.5m in length. Assembled in USA. These cables bring great fine detail and a lively presentation without being peaky or shouty.

About the Conductors

Both signal conductors are Duelund Coherent Audio 2.5mm by 0.3mm rectangular pure silver wire.

About the Connectors

This cable uses AECO XLR connectors with gold-plated tellurium copper. 

The female connectors do not have the little clip normally seen on female XLRs, but I’ve had no issue with retention or otherwise getting a good hold during testing. Just don’t swing them around, please.

About the Construction

Each signal conductor gets wrapped in its own PFA braid and cotton sleeve before being bundled together under a copper braided shield. The full cable is then encased in PVC heatshrink and covered in a Techflex multifilament nylon sleeve. See the pictures for a play-by-play.
