Superior resolution & musicality. Only one made in the world. If you have efficient speakers and want to upgrade, this amp is one you should consider. I am selling my own Soundgate 45/2A3 PSE amp. Built for me in Japan two years ago, this is the best amp I have ever owned. It's comparable to the best Audio Note Japan's amps but it's much cheaper. This is a parallel single ended triode amp giving the best sound quality ever. You may pay $30,000 USD for another 45 amp but won't find this quality of sound. This amp is about micro-dynamics, detail, musicality, big and deep sound stage, with a killer vocal presentation.

Two 45 tubes for each channel are used giving 4 watts. You can also use just one 45 tube. This is a fixed bias amp. Changing the bias may allow you to use 2A3 tubes. The sound is just beautiful.

Tango made some of the best transformers in the world. The best Hirata Tango X-2.7 S-2 output transformers are used in this amp. These are the top of the range Tango output trans. If you can find these, they will cost at least $3800 USD, but they are very rare in the world (Soundgate is selling one very rare pair now with shipping fee costing $280 USD). Power trans. and choke are also from Tango. These are simply the best transformers ever made but they are no longer in production. The top 3mm copper plate alone cost $400 when it’s built for me.
