Tung Sol 6SL7GT, NEW, USA, wartime, matched pair, VT-229 eq., “branded “Radiocoin”

Two NIB Tung Sol 6SL7GT tubes. These tubes are branded “Radiocoin”, which was one of many jobber brands (branded tubes not meant for resale – only for professionals) that served the jukebox repair community that Tung Sol manufactured tubes for. These are obviously vintage, USA made, Tung Sol tubes and are considered by some to be the best American made 6SL7GT that money can buy. They are marked M-R, which was a wartime only designation, Maintenance-Repair, wartime manufacture.

Black, round plates. Full, round mica. They have the exact same structure inside and out.
 
Tested on a calibrated Hickok TV-3 military tester. Firm bases, excellent silvering. The pair are matched for dynamic gain and structure. They test at 2000-1938 and 2000-1875, where pass/fail is 1100 micromho.

They have been graded "mint" because they were not originally shipped from the factory with seals on the boxes and so do not satisfy Audiogon's strict "new" definition.
