Yamaha AS 3000 Integrated Amplifier - Black

I will be out of town until Friday April 10 and will not be able to ship until Monday April 13.  Take this into account if you purchase them before that time.   

The amp is in excellent condition (very much like new) with no scratches or other marks and everything works perfectly.  It comes with the original remote and power cord.  I will ship in the original box, which is in great condition.

The AS 3000 has tremendous detail, while maintaining a pleasant warmth.  Yamaha seems to have eliminated a lot of the solid state sound from this amp.  I had a Mark Levinson 585.5 Integrated Amp to compare it to for a little while. Both amps were detailed and enjoyable with a good strong bass foundation.  The Levinson had a stronger bass attack.  However, the Yamaha had a sound that was more alive - more musical.  I kept the Yamaha.

Even though the Yamaha is only rated at 100/150 watts, this is a strong amp that can power most speakers out there.  

This amp is the forerunner to the current AS 3200.  They look the same with the same features.  From what I understand, the newer Amp is a little more refined with a similar sound - for about $9,000.

I have enjoyed this amp in my listening room with my Revel F226 be speakers for the last several years.  My listening sessions have become more infrequent and I just need to start paring down my equipment.
