Pair of custom made Italian 211-SET (19W Class-A) mono block amplifiers with 8-ohm taps. These were built for me (I am the original owner) in the fall of 2020 with Mundorf Silver Caps and a full point-to-point wiring structure. The housing is olive wood and uses a solid copper top-plate. Originally designed for radio broadcasting transmitters, the 211 tube has excellent linearity and was the centerpiece of the $120K AudioNote Ongaku flagship. This linearity lends itself to an audio amplifier with no feedback (neither local nor global) but still low distortion. The 211 triode has low output impedance and makes the amplifier a voltage, not current source. These have been flawless in operation and are loaded with Audio-Note 4242E tubes (ie the molybdenum version of the 211) as driver tubes and Pope 6SN7's (virtually unobtainable now). In addition to the in-service tubes I have a spare pair of AN-4242E' (NIB) and 6SN7's from Treasure Globe (Grade A). The tube complement alone is $4000.. I am moving to larger lower efficiency speakers and need more power than these beauties deliver. These are fantastic for 88 dB or greater speakers and are frequently demo'd using the full range system of Cube Audio. Please look at any of the Tektron reviews or show coverage; their reputation is well earned. These will ship in custom wooden crates and I'll cover shipping in the US if purchased with PayPal F&F.
