Power cable, 2m in length. Assembled in USA. This configuration has been my point-of-reference for testing power cables for power amplifiers.
About the Cable Stock
This cable uses Furutech FP-Alpha 3 cable stock. This is an unshielded stock that features 11 gauge conductors made of Furutech’s proprietary Alpha-Process OCC copper. This is an increasingly hard-to-find stock with a well-regarded performance record.
About the Connectors
This cable uses FI-28(R) connectors which feature rhodium-plated contact surfaces and an anti-resonant nylon shell.
About the Construction
Nothing fancy here. All of the internal connections are treated with Furutech Nano contact enhancer and are torqued to Furutech’s specifications. I added a Techflex nylon multifilament sleeve for fun.
